It’s safe to say that J. Cole and Wale released
two of the most talked about rap songs of the week. After Cole dropped his polarizing track, “False Prophets,” where he calls Wale and Kanye West, Wale delivered his response song “Groundhog Day.”
Fans saluted the DMV rapper for dropping bars that was conversational and not vindictive at the North Carolina rapper.
But are they really beefing with each other? Apparently not.
On Saturday (Dec. 3), Wale went on his Twitter account and posted a 10-second clip of him and Cole sitting courtside at Boston University Vs. NC State basketball game in Raleigh, N.C. As you can see in the clip above, it looks like the two MCs have mended their friendship and it’s all good now.
This is how all rap beefs should end. Right?
According to Complex, J. Cole recorded “False Prophets” several months ago. Apparently, Joey Bada$$ tweeted his approval for Cole to use the same beat from “Waves” off his 1999 mixtape to record “False Prophets.”
